Draft. Effective date to be set at launch.
What the extension sends to us
When you open a supported auction page, the extension sends the titles of the lots on that page, their vintage and bottle size where shown, and the name of the site, to our server so it can return prices. It also sends your license key and a random identifier for your browser install. It does not send the page URL, your bids, your account details on the auction site, or anything from other websites.
What we keep
- Your license record: email, plan, status, renewal date, and which browser installs are activated.
- Daily usage counts per license: how many lots were looked up and how many matched. The lot titles themselves are not kept.
- A wrong-match report, only when you press the report button: the lot title, vintage and the sales that were matched.
We do not keep lot titles from lookups, search text, or IP addresses. Abuse detection uses a daily count of distinct network ranges, computed in memory.
Your cellar list
The list you import in the options page stays in your browser. Each line is sent once to our server to be turned into a lookup key; the server keeps nothing from that request.
Files you upload for enrichment
Spreadsheets uploaded on lasthammer.com/app are processed and deleted within 24 hours, and are never used for anything else.
Payments
Purchases are handled by our merchant of record, who collects your payment details and applicable taxes. We receive your email, plan and license status; we never see your card.
Cookies and tracking
lasthammer.com sets no tracking cookies. The app page stores your license key in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in.
